We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plumber to be part of a local team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking high standard Plumbing repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.
About the Role:
You will have a certified core trade to support the timely and high-quality completion of repair and refurbishment works, following the agreed standard operating procedures.
Take responsibility for construction and repairs, aiming for first-time completion within budget and time limits.
Manage all task-related activities electronically using a handheld device (PDA). This includes worksheets, timesheets, photos of work, van stock replenishment, annual leave bookings, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, and risk assessments.
Utilise existing stock or collect materials as and when required to meet works order requirements, in accordance with standard operating procedures for purchasing and van stock control compliance.
Role Criteria:
* Experience working in the Building Construction/Maintenance Industry.
* Qualified Advanced City and Guilds, NVQ Level 7 or equivalent in plumbing.
* Ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings, and schematic drawings.
* A full driving license.
* Social housing experience is desired.
