As an electrical design engineer you will use intuitive electrical design software to create single source low voltage switchgear solutions that enable our clients to take a fully integrated approach to their power distribution.
Due to continuous growth we are looking for another Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Burnfoot, Ireland.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage your allocated Design duties in line with the Production Schedule.
* Generate part drawings, programme, and set up on the appropriate ordering and programming systems, i.e., PN, EHRT, IFS.
* Liaise with the sheet metal and copper ordering teams to allow the team to complete the necessary BOMs in line with the schedule.
* Provide Technical support to the Switchgear and Powerbar Project Managers regarding Bespoke Busbar and switchboard Design queries.
* Provide Technical support to Team Leader/Lead Operators regarding production queries, attending the workshop floor where necessary.
* Provide Technical support to Sheet Metal and Copper Production teams regarding part queries.
* Provide Technical support to the site-based teams regarding site measures and part demands.
* Generate clear and technical assembly drawings to be used by the MAS, SUB, FA and Tap-offs assembly Teams.
* Attend regular Metalwork meetings where necessary to provide technical advice on the practicalities of upcoming Designs.
We use Autocad and Solidworks so ideally you will have significant use of these tools or similar.
