Job Description:
Estio Training has an exciting new opportunity for a Junior IT Support Engineer with Natpoint, an IT Support company, based at Elstree Aerodrome, Hertfordshire.
Role Summary:
A support-based hands-on Junior IT role based on-site at the HQ in Edgeware. The role will grow in responsibility and autonomy as the candidate gains skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing 1st Line IT Support
* Troubleshooting
* Using software to fix and enhance customer systems
* Managing hardware systems and up-selling
* Basic security measures i.e. managing firewalls and security settings
* Maintenance of networks, Mac, and Windows
Qualifications:
* Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
* Interest in the IT industry
* Basic experience or junior qualification
* Desire to forge a career within the IT industry and seeking to progress internally
Personal Qualities:
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Approachable and helpful personality
* Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

* Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintain system performance
* Maintain regulatory, legal, and professional standards.
* Support the information systems needs for your business.
