Swift Placements are working with a School Insurer business based in Bradford who currently undergoing a period of growth. Our client is looking to recruit for 2x Cold Callers/ Lead Generators to join their team during School Term time until April 2025. The primary responsibility of the Cold Caller is to proactively contact schools and education establishments to introduce and promote the company’s absence insurance solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset to generate leads and secure appointments or interest from potential clients.
Temp role till April 2025, with a potential to be extended.
Location: BD10
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hourly Pay rate: £11.54 per hour
£25.00 Paid for every Lead converted into a sale!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:
o Conduct daily outbound calls to schools within a designated area.
o Introduce the company’s absence insurance services and explain the benefits tailored for educational institutions.
2. Lead Generation:
o Identify and qualify potential clients through research and initial conversations.
o Maintain an accurate and updated database of leads and contacts.
3. Client Engagement:
o Handle objections effectively and persuasively communicate the value of the product.
o Build rapport with school administrators and decision-makers.
4. Appointment Setting:
o Secure meetings or follow-up calls with key stakeholders for senior sales team members to convert the lead into a sale.
Key Skills & Competencies:
1. Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and persuasive verbal communication. Excellent telephone skills and able to speak to key stakeholders professionally.
2. Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
3. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone.
4. Resilience: Capable of handling rejection and remaining motivated.
5. Time Management: Effectively manage calling schedules to maximize productivity.
6. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and telephony tools.
7. Prior experience in telesales, cold calling, or a Customer Face to Face role.
8. GCSEs or equivalent; additional sales training is advantageous.
