Job overview
The post holder will act as a senior staff nurse taking charge of the clinical area in the absence of the Deputy Sister and ensuring that the standards and quality of care given to patients and clients are maintained at a high standard. The post holder will provide regular direct clinical care and support the implementation of both clinical and non-clinical governance.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a keen and motivated (band 5/6) nurse to join our team in delivering essential and specialist Cardiothoracic surgical nursing care to our patients. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will work well within a team. The ability to cope in stressful and demanding situations is highly desirable.

* Evidence of CPD, Degree, MSc or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
