This pivotal role supports the clinical and scientific teams with all administrative tasks, including patient reports and letters, ensuring they are readily available.
As our Senior Medical Secretary, you will:
• Provide efficient and comprehensive senior medical secretarial and administrative support within a specialty and across the service unit, including support to Pathology Consultants.
• Deputise for the Team Leader and provide PA support as needed.
• Supervise and train less experienced staff.
• Offer administrative support to leadership and clinical teams.
• Extract, collate, and deliver performance data in a format that meets departmental needs.
• Perform allocated clerical tasks to meet service requirements.
• Undergo training to adapt to new developments within the Service.
