Telesales Executive

Are you an experienced sales professional who is comfortable making a high volume of calls to generate leads and revenue?
We are supporting a well-established, growing business in Shrewsbury looking to recruit 1-2 Telesales professionals to join their successful team. The Telesales Executives will work through a volume of contacts from a vast internal database and follow up on new inquiries to discuss upcoming requirements and plans on certain construction projects, identifying suitable projects for tendering.
This is an important role to assist with their continued expansion plans. They seek a self-driven and tenacious individual. Most contacts will be familiar with the organization and typically have suitable projects on the horizon. The calls will primarily be B2B, with no B2C activity involved.
Responsibilities:
1. Calling business customers to discuss future projects they are planning.
2. Cleansing data to ensure you have the right contacts and are speaking to the right decision-makers.
3. Asking probing questions to gather suitable details from conversations to progress information into leads or assist with future calls.
4. Passing warm leads to the BDM or booking visits to discuss projects.
5. Updating the company CRM with relevant information obtained.
6. Keeping the team informed of key market or competitor insights gained during your activities.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role, we seek someone with a proven track record in telesales, particularly in a medium to high call volume sales environment. While there is an expectation to make a significant volume of calls daily, quality interactions are equally important to ensure a great customer experience and gather valuable information for future sales.
