You will be responsible for the commercial management of both mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring that the commercial aspects of the business are protected and well-managed, thereby enhancing the overall service received by the client. The salary for these roles will be dependent on experience and level upon joining our Commercial team.
Main Duties:
* Ensure that the business remains competitive through professional and controlled management of the projects, costings, cash flow, and management of suppliers and sub-contractors.
* Work with the Procurement Department to maintain high standards of installation and quality of materials to meet specified requirements.
* Oversee and be responsible for financial reports.
* Assist in producing monthly Trading Reviews (CVR Reports) ready for presentation to the Company Directors.
* Produce monthly application/valuation including variation breakdowns and negotiation of final accounts.
* Oversee sub-contract accounts, including negotiation of variation accounts, preparing and issuing payment certificates and final accounts.
* Liaise and support the accounts functions, reviewing Supplier and Sub-contract accounts, including variation accounts.
* Oversee supplier orders and assist the buyers with negotiation of large ticket items.
* Prepare and issue subcontractor orders.
* Review all client contracts and highlight risks and variances to our tender submission ready for director review and signoff.
Minimum Requirements:
* Ideally degree qualified with an industry-recognized QS qualification.
* 3 years of experience required.
