If you are a non medical prescriber (NMP) you will provide information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication on medication regimens, side-effects and interactions. Non-Medical Prescribing You must only prescribe within your scope of practice and comply with the gtd healthcare NMP governance registration processes. If you are not a NMP, you will work towards this qualification. You must maintain your knowledge and skills and prescribe within your clinical competencies. The non-medical prescriber is required to comply with organisational NMP governance processes and adhere to local and national prescribing guidance.
