Job Title: Program Manager – NPDI Busbar PL
Function/Department: Busbar Product Line (PL)
Reports to: Senior Manager Global Programme Management - NPDI
Location: Burnfoot, IRE
JOB SUMMARY:
As Programme Manager you will be responsible for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects. These projects range in complexity that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. You'll get to coordinate with every department in the Busbar team, optimising time to market, monitoring project and product costs, scheduling and resourcing. You'll build great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and enjoy successful project outcomes.
Day to day:
1. Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the agreed upon scope.
2. Monitor team schedules and ensure coordination of activities on the critical path.
3. Provide executive-level program updates to senior management and executive sponsors.
4. Develop reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for schedule and cost.
5. Identify key issues and drive decisions to ensure that the project does not slip.
6. Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans.
7. Ensure the projects are following the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process.
8. Assist project team members as required.
9. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, or other technical degree. Master of Business Administration is a plus.
2. Proven ability to lead others to achieve common goals and to accomplish tasks.
3. Demonstrated competence in problem-solving, data analysis, project planning.
4. Experience leading cross functional meetings and presenting to small groups, both in person and via conference call.
5. Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve business objectives.
6. Process and results-oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals.
7. Experience with 3-phase power distribution or Busbar products is preferred.
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, & Smartsheet.
9. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
