Teaching Assistant (TA) Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week) Location: Sudbury Salary: Competitive We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team, focusing on Key Stage 2 (KS2) interventions for Year 4 and Year 5 students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's educational and developmental needs. Day-to-day of the role: Work closely with KS2 teachers to identify students who require additional support in Year 4 and Year 5. Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to help raise student attainment. Assist in the planning and preparation of activities tailored to individual or small group needs. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Support the creation of a safe and stimulating learning environment. Engage with students to foster a positive learning attitude and address any individual concerns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with KS2. Strong understanding of the educational needs of Year 4 and Year 5 students. Ability to plan and deliver effective interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
