Job Purpose
We are looking for a Vibrations Analysis Engineer (FEA) to join our Flow Assurance & Computational Analysis Team at TechnipFMC Krakow. In this role you will be a member of a global Center of Excellence gathering experts in multiple numerical modelling disciplines and you will be working on developing subsea equipment for the Oil & Gas industry and TechnipFMC customers worldwide.
You will be responsible for:
1. Performing studies related to vibrations (flow induced vibrations, acoustic pulsation) using ANSYS Mechanical software
2. Coordinating studies related to FEA/CFD analyses
3. Supporting the Flow Assurance team in tenders, studies and projects execution
4. Creating documentation and reports including the outcome of studies
5. Cooperating with peers from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges
6. Communicating results to internal and external customers
You are meant for this job if:
1. BSc/MSc degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline)
2. +3 years of experience in the FEA analyst role
3. Knowledge of mechanical vibrations, frequency domains, PSD
4. Experience in Harmonic Response, Acoustic Response and Modal Analyses
5. Understanding of mechanical principles, stresses and fatigue
6. Skills in programming in Python (at least basic level)
7. Fluency when communicating in English (at least B2 level)
8. Strong communication skills to discuss and explain technical information
9. Ability to work as a team member in the international environment
10. Strong problem-solving skills
11. Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
Optional:
1. Experience in using ANSYS products and 3D CAD software (i.e NX)
2. Experience in using pre-processors (ANSA, HyperMesh, etc.)
3. Experience in using CFD solvers (Fluent, CFX, StarCCM+, etc.)
