SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Hours: 35 hours per week can be a part-time job share
Shift pattern: Sunday - Friday
Week 1: 09:00-17:30
Week 2: 07:00-15:30
Week 3: 09:00-17:30
Week 4: 12:00-20:30
Can flex shifts. Shift Supervisors must ensure sufficient Shift Supervisor coverage across the 7 days
Salary: £24,375 per annum
Location: Norwich Hybrid

ABOUT YOU
You must possess a genuine desire to help the community, be empathetic and attentive to our customer’s needs. You have a customer-centric mindset, are highly organised, and have a good level of education. You will be great at building rapport with clients and achieving and surpassing targets. It would be advantageous if you have used Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. You will have supervisor or team leader experience.
THE ROLE
As a Shift Supervisor, you will mentor and support staff in the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) with the ongoing refinement of their skills. You will ensure high efficiency and quality of work is achieved by members of the ARC and work towards the overall betterment of the centre and the service we provide to clients.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Quality Assurance
* Conducting Call Quality Checks for operators.
* Performing side-by-side call coaching and Call Quality Checks.
* Reinforcing and supporting process changes. Ensuring all members of staff are comfortable and confident with the process changes.
* Supporting the Learning and Development team in signing individuals off on refresher training.
Buddies for New Starters
* Be point of contact, a ‘buddy’ for new members of the team.
* Assisting the Learning and Development Coordinators with their onboarding of new staff members.
General Running of Centre
* Being reserve call handlers for when all other operators are on the phone and calls are waiting to be answered.
* Knowledge and ability to call handle, to best advise and support the operators.
* To assist when needed in running shift.
* Awareness and prioritization of compliance within the center.
