Jenson Fisher, have been engaged, by a highly reputable and growing organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a part-time permanent basis, consisting of 3 days (21 hours). This role would suit a candidate who has purchase ledger and credit control experience and who wants to be part of a small friendly team.
The main duties:
1. Chasing and pre-chasing all outstanding invoices
2. Allocating bank receipts & credit notes promptly
3. Banking Cheques received at our local branch
4. Dealing with invoice queries
5. Ensuring Supplier Invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner
6. Processing weekly BACS/CHAPS Payments
7. High volume invoice and credit note processing
8. Reconciliation of supplier statements.
The main requirements:
9. Previous accounts experience is essential
10. A proactive, self-starter
11. Highly proficient in Excel
12. Strong team player
13. Excellent communication skills
