Salary: From £43,878 per annum

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Conferencing and Events to join our vibrant Commercial Services Team. This is your chance to make a significant impact by leading our conferencing and events operations, shaping strategic initiatives, and contributing to our financial growth.
In this role you will:
1. Manage university venue and facilities hire, and develop and implement innovative conference strategies.
2. Identify and implement new commercial opportunities to achieve financial targets.
3. Plan and execute events, develop efficient processes for bookings and invoicing, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
4. Play a key role in developing our new year-round conference facilities launching this year.
5. Maintain venue compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in conferencing and events management.
2. Strong strategic thinking and financial acumen.
3. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
4. Leadership qualities to effectively manage and inspire a team.
Please note due to the nature of the role, the position is expected to be heavily campus-based, and flexibility to support conferences and events across all sites is essential.
