Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Reporting to: Facilities Manager

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining the electrical infrastructure to ensure a safe working environment. Working within a small Facilities Team, reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will need to be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and be IT literate. The role will require you to manage your time effectively to work through reactive and planned maintenance tasks and respond to emergency breakdowns. In addition, you will have budgetary control over ordering electrical materials and critical spares to minimize downtime. There may be occasions when flexible working hours are necessary to undertake tasks that require an early start or a late finish, including site attendance at a weekend.

2. AHU’s, FCU’s, Lighting repairs
3. Awareness of Trend Building management systems
4. Awareness of Fan coil system controls – Honeywell
5. Emergency Lighting Testing
6. Fault investigation and rectification on Production CNC machine breakdowns
7. PLC Controllers – Basic Knowledge
8. Inverters
9. Interlock systems
10. Contactors & Relays
11. Installation works
12. LV Distribution systems – single and three phase
13. Conduit, Trunking and Tray work
14. Running IT Data cables & testing
15. Internal & External Lighting and controls systems
16. Assisting with General Factory Maintenance
17. Dismantle and install furniture as required
18. Dismantle and re-install partition to gain access, for example machine moves
19. Make minor plumbing repairs, as necessary
20. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
Qualifications
1. Time Served Electrical Apprenticeship
2. City & Guilds Electrical Installations part 1&2
3. City & Guilds, ONC or HNC
4. City & Guilds 18th edition
5. City & Guilds 2391 (Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations)
