About the OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Planning Manager to join our Advanced Manufacturing business unit based at Edinburgh Parks, SA.Working across all aspects of managing and optimising the production planning function within a make-to-order manufacturing environment, you will also play a critical role to enhance the functionality of our Oracle MRP system and lead the operations team in adopting new system modules and capabilities. Key responsibilities include: * Develop and maintain accurate make-to-order production schedules aligned with customer requirements, material availability, and capacity constraints. * Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, and shop floor teams to ensure timely and efficient production execution. * Maintain planning data accuracy in Oracle ERP and lead initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the MRP system. * Collaborate with the IT team to identify system gaps, define requirements, and test improvements or customizations to Oracle MRP functionality. * Drive the introduction and optimisation of new and existing Oracle modules by working with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, assess readiness, and support implementation efforts. * Provide leadership and mentoring to the planning team, including setting KPIs and supporting professional development. * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on lead time reduction, efficiency gains, and process digitisation. * Generate and analyse production reports to support decision-making and highlight key planning metrics. About YOU * Proven experience in production planning or operations in a manufacturing environment * Experience with Oracle ERP/MRP system * Experience with make-to-order production and demand-driven planning processes * Prior management of ERP system improvements, module implementations, or IT projects is highly desirable * A background in electronics and/or machinery domains would be beneficial.
