Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a range of subjects. Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs and abilities. Assist students with learning difficulties or disabilities to achieve their learning goals. Adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles of each student. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to parents and teachers as required. Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS. Experience working with students with SEN. Knowledge of different learning needs and strategies to support students effectively. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher, preferably with SEN students. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises in SEN education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff. Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in specific SEN areas such as autism, dyslexia, or ADHD. Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule. Work may take place in schools, educational centres, or student homes. Potential travel within the Oxfordshire area.
