Head of Housing and Health and Safety
ABOUT THE ROLE
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £44,865 per annum (plus London weighting if applicable)
Place of work: Hybrid, but with a base in our London office, or in another L’Arche location. If your base is outside London, you can expect to spend 2-3 days a month in the London office.
The role also involves regular travel to L’Arche Communities UK wide, and to national meetings.

Main purpose of the role:
* Lead improvements across L’Arche UK, ensuring we meet the highest standards in Housing and Health & Safety in each region.
* Develop systems that support L’Arche in maintaining best practices, meeting relevant national standards, and implementing projects that align with our Housing Vision.
* Work autonomously in a dynamic, values-driven organisation, where your skills and experience will have a direct impact on improving lives.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Experience of working in asset management, housing development and/or housing management, including some experience of supported housing;
* Knowledge of housing and health and safety legislation and regulation, including housing benefits and supported housing funding; A leader who can set vision, build collaborative partnerships, and lead continuous improvement in housing and health and safety practice; Committed to creating the best possible housing and community spaces for people in our communities;
