Main duties include offering strategic support to senior executives, ensuring projects are on track, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to the executive team. Support in writing and collating briefing materials for the executive office is also required. Accountabilities Strategic support to senior executives, including assistance in developing and executing business strategies, research and analysis for decision-making, and acting as a delegate in specific situations. Management of colleague engagement planning, communication channels, and coordination across departments and teams. Management of key projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring they are on track and providing regular updates to the executive team. Improvement of operational efficiency within the organization by identifying improvement areas, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices. Development of performance reporting for key metrics that reinforce strategic objectives and support external commitments, including financial analysis and budget management. Support to senior leadership in planning and forecasting, talent development, succession planning, and diversity initiatives. Risk and control oversight, crisis management, and business continuity planning. Implementation of a governance framework, preparation of board materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Assistant Vice President Expectations Consult on complex issues and provide advice to support the resolution of escalated issues. Mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures for the control and governance agenda. Manage risk and strengthen controls in related work areas. Understand how areas coordinate to achieve organizational objectives. Collaborate with other areas for aligned support to business strategy.
