We are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will assist in the administration and financial operation of the school as well as supporting the School Business Manager. The role encompasses the administration of financial processes such as recording income and expenditure and ordering and paying for resources. Experience in the use of financial accounting software such as FMS would be an advantage although training will be provided. Experience of working in a school environment and using SIMs is desirable but not essential. Whilst a flair for finance and an eye for detail is a must, a friendly and approachable manner is essential, as this role is customer facing and will include liaison with students, staff, parents/carers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will need to have enthusiasm, a strong moral compass and high expectations. A positive attitude, flexibility and adaptability are essential for this post.
