We're currently recruiting for an Ecologist to join our Arboricultural team!
Are you passionate about exploring and understanding the biodiversity of our natural world? Do you have experience in ecological surveys and a desire to contribute to conservation efforts?
Position Overview:
As a Surveying Ecologist, you will be instrumental in our efforts to assess and monitor the ecological health of various habitats. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting comprehensive ecological surveys to assess species diversity and abundance.
2. Collecting and analyzing data on habitat characteristics and environmental parameters.
3. Identifying and documenting rare or endangered species within survey areas.
4. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to inform conservation and management strategies.
5. Contributing to research projects aimed at understanding and mitigating environmental threats.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
1. A degree in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Experience conducting ecological surveys and field research.
3. Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
4. Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna and their ecological interactions.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
