Job Title: Band 8a Clinical Psychologist (CAMHS) Band : 8a Location : Wakefield, Yorkshire Working Hours: 37.5 An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist (CAMHS) to help cover two of our client’s schools in Wakefield, Yorkshire. This role is open to Clinical Psychologists and Educational Psychologist. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? The role is based across both schools and the successful candidate will need to be present due to the embedded nature of our clinical model. The successful CAMHS Practitioner will be part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to undertake assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs for children and families. The successful practitioner will take an active role in the holistic assessment and treatment of young people who present to the service with mental health problems.
