Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Colchester Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide outreach tutoring in English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Support students in developing essential literacy and numeracy skills Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at Key Stage 3 level Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of the KS3 curriculum in English and Maths Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Proficiency in educational technologies and resources Experience in delivering outreach programmes to disadvantaged students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in school settings or community centres or learners homes Potential travel within the East of England region may be required All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
