Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team who has experience in working in the HGV environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services by providing exceptional administrative support. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities
1. Provide exceptional customer service using various forms of communication such as in person, phone, or email.
2. Provide administration support to the Service Director.
3. Assist with keeping detailed digital deal files by ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and stored.
4. Provide administration support to the Service department and workshop, including raising job cards and invoicing, in a timely manner and to a high standard.
5. Handle large fleet quoting and invoicing as required, including recharge and R&M work, in a timely manner and to C&W standard.
6. Assist in the control of admin work levels and outstanding open jobs.
7. Complete warranty and repair and maintenance claims in line with DAF policies.
8. Address customer/Paccar queries.
9. Work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
10. Understand and follow manufacturer guidelines for quotation and warranty.
11. Ensure all quotes/invoices are presented correctly to the correct account within the C&W Standard.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a HGV service department is required.
2. Experience working with retail and large fleet customers.
3. Demonstrated ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently, including data entry and document management.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on maintaining professionalism at all times.
5. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Flexible, team player, and enthusiastic.
