COMMERCIAL ADVISOR (PROCUREMENT)
Salary: up to £75,000 + 5% bonus
Location: London (Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office)
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Advisor to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

What you'll do:
As a Commercial Advisor (Procurement), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of category, sourcing, and contracting strategies. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be utilised in maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers, driving significant changes in value. You will optimise value through innovation, risk mitigation, and growth throughout the relationship lifecycle. Your commitment to following global standards for suppliers and contractors will ensure safe and socially acceptable delivery. You will actively track commercial dashboard KPIs, addressing and escalating issues proactively. Your responsibilities also include compiling and executing allocated sourcing events, contracting, and contract management.
* Support the development of category, sourcing and contracting strategies through data gathering and analysis.
* Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to drive step change in value.
* Optimize value through innovation, risk mitigation and growth throughout the relationship life cycle.
* Follow global standards for suppliers and contractors to enable safe and socially acceptable delivery.
* Actively track commercial dashboard KPIs and proactively address and escalate issues.
* Responsible for compiling and executing allocated sourcing events, contracting and contract management.

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Advisor (Procurement) role brings strong technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain. Your experience in Sourcing and Contracting will be invaluable in this role. You have the ability to integrate Commercial, PSC, Supplier Management & Purchasing sub-disciplines seamlessly. Your strong commercial acumen coupled with your ability to develop robust business cases sets you apart from others. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, as are your supplier relationship management skills.
