If so, joining us in Central Norwich could be the right move for you. An opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker, ideally Level 2, to join our team. We would need you to have an experience of working with adults, managing complex cases, have a sound knowledge of the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Safeguarding. Excellent time management and IT skills are also essential. Ideally you will have a thorough working knowledge of Norfolk County Council processes and procedures. Covering Central Norfolk, our team of Social Workers, Assistant Practitioners and Occupational Therapists utilise the Care Act (2014) to assess and provide support to adults living in the community. There will be also opportunities to work within the Discharge to Assess Follow up team. With our integrated working, you’ll enjoy variety in your day and the opportunity to build strong working relationships with professionals across the county council, NHS, and other partners. We work under Living Well model of care to provide better outcomes by talking about what people can do, listening and connecting to enable early intervention in the community and avoid where possible admission to an acute setting.
