Are you passionate about creating impactful events and driving marketing strategies? Vanguard's Workplace Solutions group is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to consult with senior staff leaders, execute large-scale enterprise-wide events, and continuously innovate our event planning processes. This role:
* Consults with senior staff leaders in one or more business areas to deliver top-quality and cost-effective meetings and events in line with business objectives and Vanguard's brand strategy.
* Executes large-scale enterprise wide events and projects. Recommends and implements creative and innovative practices to continuously improve upon existing meeting and event planning processes. This role focuses on industry conference sponsorships, webinars, support for podcasts, and ad-hoc events as needed.
* Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of conference and event industry forces, competition, technology, and trends to act as a trusted advisor throughout the conference and event strategy.
* Creates detailed plans consistent with marketing and business objectives, develops cost/benefit analyses, and leads continuous-improvement efforts.
* Fosters effective communication and partnership with external partners. Liaises between internal and external partners as needed.
* Participates in assessing team capacity and prioritizing requests. Engages in strategic competitive analysis. Manages risk and ensures compliance in partnership with senior leaders and other Vanguard crew.
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
* Limited travel as needed.
Qualifications
* Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least two years of marketing or event-planning experience.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays – Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from our offices in Malvern PA.
