Requirements:
- - Excellent commercial experience of Magento 2/Adobe Commerce Cloud development and architecture.
- Experience of multi-store Magento sites.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, PHTML, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with third-party integrations, payment gateways, and shipping modules.
- Experience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with Docker and deployment workflows.
- Strong communication skills and an appetite for personal learning and development.
- A good understanding of internet architecture and UX.
- Understanding of responsive design and development requirements.
- Desirable skills include experience integrating third-party systems with Magento (e.g., Netsuite, Akeneo, ChannelAdvisor), experience with NewRelic, and Magento certification.
Responsibilities:
- - Collaborate with our existing developers to ensure consistent, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Mentor and work with the marketing team, ensuring compatibility across all systems.
- Help shape our e-commerce experience for B2B and B2C customers.
- Work with APIs to integrate various back-end systems.
- Build bespoke modules or advise on off-the-shelf solutions to meet technical requirements.
- Investigate issues, fix bugs, and perform testing.
- Optimize website performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Conduct general site maintenance, including security patches and version upgrades.
- Create and maintain documentation for application coding and project development.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company processes and ensure they are consistently followed.
- Stay updated with the latest technology developments.
- Accept ad hoc tasks as assigned, promoting a culture of helping others.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System.
