Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Rail Division - Bristol
Role
The UK Rail Business is looking for 2 Assistant Quantity Surveyors to work within & assist the commercial & construction team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships, to maximise commercial returns & manage risk.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support the commercial team
2. Carry out the following under supervision:Prepare tenders – measure, put into packages, analysePrepare variations/valuations/client quotationsPrepare Final AccountsAttend site client meetings
3. Liaise with site management
4. Consider Risk & opportunity
5. Cash managementTimely application/invoices inline with client schedule
Qualifications
6. Ability to effectively utilise a range of Microsoft Office tools
7. Able to manipulate, manage/interrogate data
8. Be fully conversant with the use of the Standard Method of Measurement
9. Demonstrate ownership/commercial awareness
10. Effective time management, organisational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
11. Completed or currently undertaking a qualification in Quantity Surveying (HND/HNC Upwards)
12. Preferable to be studying towards Chartership
