People Practice Adherence: To maintain the administrative responsibilities relating to the smooth running of standard day-to-day People Practice department covering, but not limited to o Being the first point of contact for the People Practice team, providing excellent service and engagement levels o To organise and maintain People Practice related calendars and meetings To lead the maintenance of all employee records on relevant digital platforms, including absence, annual leave, mandatory training, performance management, company structure and communication records, recruitment and retention. Ensuring records align to company policies To provide administrative support for recruitment and selection, hiring managers and candidates, aligned to company policies and procedures To provide quality support to senior People Practice team members and people managers on situations that require sensitive handling, such as, but not limited to Documenting/note taking of People Practice related meetings and ensuring the distribution and storage of such documentation is compliant Creating relevant documentation and presentation packs for People Practice meetings To support PCL with developing functions that can be replicated and expanded across multiple entities, through growth of the existing organisation or through sales to other organisations To support PCL at internal and external engagement events and conferences. Workforce Planning, Rostering and Development: To lead as the priority owner of systems utilised for planning, rostering and development of workforce, overseeing the upskilling of other users To maintain the workforce rostering function across the organisation, providing an independent and impartial view to satisfy conflicting operational team demands To maintain all records regarding workforce planning, talent management, and workforce optimisation strategies to ensure staffing levels meet requirements To contribute to the development and implementation of policies which protect and support the flexible needs of the workforce and services offered through utilisation of different contractual and payment mechanisms Employee Relations and Wellbeing Support the delivery of People Practice policies and processes to manage employee relations effectively, ensuring high levels of staff engagement and morale Contribute to obtaining feedback on organisational culture and employee engagement through staff surveys and other activities to improve the quality of working life so that staff feel involved, motivated and supported in their work Support the promotion of employee wellbeing initiatives, providing a supportive environment that enhances staff health and work-life balance, with focus on a culture of support Company Policies To assist the development and implementation of policies that support operational teams to be able to satisfy service needs through absence and leave management cover To support the maintenance of version control, compliance, storage and accessibility of company policies, to maintain employee relations effectively Data and Analytics: As part of the people practice team, work with the Business Intelligence team on reporting for workforce gaps against operational and people management levels, in a visual and effective way To collate and contribute on the presentation of quality data on workforce at different levels of the organisation and group structure, across a range of requirements for example performance management, annual leave, absences management, mandatory training and policy sign-off Strategy: Champion PCL's values, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality within the workforce Support and contribute to the implementation of a forward-thinking People Practice strategy, inclusive of organisational workforce development, aligned with PCLs vision, values and strategic objectives Personal Development Be committed to continued professional development and learning new skills To build an awareness of legislative and case law developments and the practical implications that this will have now and in the future for our organisation Keep up to date with all new and mandatory training associated with the role Attending PCL Stakeholder events to broaden your network and build relationships Attending our bi-annual PCL staff development and engagement sessions
