The health team at Porter Novelli is in growth mode, and we’re looking for a stand-out Associate Director to join our smart, fast-paced team and join the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll have a keen interest in working across a mix of biotech and pharmaceutical accounts and be ready to do some of the best work of your career. Currently the Porter Novelli Healthcare team is supporting a wide arrange of clients, including Roche, Merck, Amgen, Astellas and Immunocore across Product Communications (incorporating patient advocacy & disease awareness), Corporate Health, & Employee Engagement. Therapy areas include oncology, neurology, rare disease and diabetes to name but a few. With great buy-in from current clients, a healthy new business pipeline in place and a dynamic and collaborative team that has grown to match client needs, our new hire will have a great future ahead of them.
About You
* At least 8 years experience within the global healthcare sector and a passion for the industry
* Knowledge and understanding of healthcare regulatory codes and their application to healthcare communications
* A commitment to health equity, purpose, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Self-motivated, takes initiative, and follows through on commitments
* A strong project manager, who is able to encourage our clients to embrace bold ideas through sound strategic counsel and creative insight.
* A role model to junior team members, encouraging the highest levels of quality and client service
* A confident communicator who can consult with both clients and internally.
What your day to day could look like:
* Overseeing client accounts and inspiring both clients and teams with innovative communication solutions, such as interactive social media campaigns, immersive virtual events, data-driven content strategies, and personalised communication plans
* Leading the creation and review of client content, including press releases, social media content calendars, and supplier briefs.
* Overseeing the organisation of team and client meetings, including agenda development, drafting meeting content, and producing contact/status reports.
* Managing client budgets and developing activity reports.
* Leading media sell-ins to UK, EU, and international media outlets.
* Coaching and mentoring the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality work on time.
* Contributing unique ideas and strategic approaches to client challenges.
* Leading and participating in brainstorms and other creative processes.
* Developing and implementing strategic communication plans for clients.
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships.
* Analysing market trends and providing strategic insights to clients.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
