Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant: Support students in class, working one-on-one and in small groups to enhance learning. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects. Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential. Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. Gain experience in behaviour management, lesson planning, and student engagement strategies. Offer mentoring and pastoral support, helping students build confidence and motivation. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ A recent graduate (degree in Education, English, Maths, Science, Psychology, or related field preferred). ✅ A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their education. ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ✅ A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and teaching. ✅ Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering ) is desirable. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
