The opportunity
We are seeking anexceptional Head of Service with the vision, leadership, andresilience to drive this transformation forward.
As Head of Service, you will:
* Inspire andLead Service Managers, champion quality and continuous improvement,and make a lasting impact on accessible lifelong learning for all.
* Have a strong grasp of14-25 Services and Family, Adult, and CommunityLearning,
* Bring expertise in navigatinglocal, regional, and national initiatives while maintaining budgetary control,contractual requirements, and
* Uphold excellence inOfsted standards.

Full-time employees work 37 hoursfor 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We areopen to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities whichbenefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working parttime or as a job share
If you are appointed to this role,your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslipevidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will considerstarting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
Salary: DG07 £67,020 to £71,781.
