Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, (pro rata, DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday8.30am-4.30pm
Contract: Permanent,Term-Time only 46.6 weeks
Essential: Full UK driving licence andaccess to own vehicle required
About the role
Weare looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house ClinicalTeam across Strawberry Lane School & Trimdon Hill School basedin Durham. The postholder will work collaboratively with both theSenior Leadership Team and the Clinical Locality Lead. The rolewill be split between clinically leading the team and holding atherapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the site, you willdeliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for ourpupils who may present with complex profiles of need as a result ofautism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma andsocial, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You willalso be responsible for coordinating the line management of themembers of the onsite clinical team.
You will beresponsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full supportof our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network andgrowing Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff trainingand consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, thisposition would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with atherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload and supervise others. You will work within the overallframework of service policies and procedures to support theintegration of the Clinical Team provision into the day to dayrunning of the schools, i.e. offering assessments, advice andconsultation and direct interventions. A key aspect of therole will be to support young students' needs in line withprovision set in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) inaddition to identifying any further emerging needs.

Essential Criteria:
* Recognised degree in either,Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapyor registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with theHCPC.
* Valid and up to dateprofessional Registration & membership of professional bodye.g. HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT
* Experience within the specialist client group;working with autistic individuals and those with complexneeds.
* Clear and concisereport writing relating to clinical and researchactivities
* Experience ofproviding supervision and supporting a therapyteam
* Ability to workindependently
* Experience ofmulti-professional work with teams or services within thedesignated specialty preferred
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to ownvehicle
