Contracts Manager - Drywall and Drylining
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in drywall and drylining services, for an experienced Contracts Manager.
This role is ideal for a candidate with extensive knowledge of drylining and drywall installation, who can manage multiple contracts effectively and drive project success from planning through to completion.
Role Overview:
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the contractual elements of our client’s projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This position requires excellent organisational abilities and experience managing client relationships in the interior and drywall industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee contract execution, ensuring all terms are met and projects adhere to the agreed scope.
2. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure projects align with contract specifications.
3. Develop detailed project schedules, managing resources efficiently to achieve project milestones.
4. Implement cost-control measures and track budgets to ensure projects remain profitable.
5. Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards are maintained and that projects meet both company and client expectations.
6. Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including risk assessments, quality control records, and compliance documentation.
7. Manage subcontractor selection and oversight, ensuring quality work and timely delivery.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Manager within the drywall, drylining, or interior fit-out sectors.
2. Knowledgeable in construction contracts, cost management, and budgeting.
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts effectively.
4. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
5. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are required.
