Field Service Generator Technician

About the Role:
We are recruiting a highly skilled Field Service Generator Technician to join our team, working on a 3-month contract with our multinational oil and gas client based in Great Yarmouth.
Responsibilities:
* Based at our workshop in Great Yarmouth, you will travel to offshore and onshore sites as required to undertake operations of rental/sale packages in line with procedures.
* This includes scheduled maintenance, repairs, enhancements/refurbishment, P&ID walk downs, electrical completion checks, factory acceptance tests, function/loop checks, instrument checks, and site acceptance tests.
* You will liaise with the Workshop Supervisor, Project teams, Management, Clients, and Vendors relating to their operational activities.
* Prepare, review, and fulfil work orders required for these operational activities.
* Under management direction, provide after-sales services including inspections, spares, advice/recommendations, and liaising with engineering departments as necessary.
* Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota, providing industry-leading service support.
Requirements:
* Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline is essential.
* Candidates should have City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition (desirable) and/or other relevant certifications.
* The ideal candidate will have electrical knowledge within installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance environments, including offshore experience.
* They should be able to interpret and mark up engineering drawings and have a strong understanding of industry standards.
* Additional desirable skills include deep sea control systems, PLC programming, Cummins, Iveco, Perkins engine experience, diesel-driven generators, and gas-driven generators.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office is also required.
Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum
