Job Title: Lead Planning and Logistics Co-ordinator

Job Summary: The Lead Planning and Logistics Co-ordinator will oversee the scheduling and coordination of repair and maintenance activities within the social housing sector. This senior role involves leading a team, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of planning and logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for repair and maintenance schedules, optimizing resource use and minimizing tenant disruption.
3. Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of materials, tools, and personnel, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of repair services.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between tenants, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
5. Data Analysis: Analyse repair and maintenance data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance service delivery.
6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all repair activities comply with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
7. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve planning and logistics processes, driving efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
Experience: Extensive experience in planning, scheduling, or logistics, with a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably within the social housing or construction sector.
Skills:
1. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
3. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
