More about the role As an IT Developer, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of developers and architects, taking ownership of; Designing, building, and maintaining robust, high-performing solutions using, writing clean, reusable, and secure code that drives efficiencies across the team, test and deliver solutions that are error-free, meet performance benchmarks, and align with business needs. To support this, it is essential that the software is fit for purpose, delivers on its promises and is bug free. The next 12 to 24 months sees some very exciting and high-profile projects in the pipeline and as such we are looking to expand our team. You will be responsible for the specification, development, documentation, testing and support of development processes. Providing high quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Ensuring all code is stored and maintained in DevOps. Maintaining confidentiality to the highest level and observe data protection guidelines. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Role Criteria: An established proven record of commercial experience using .net development languages C#, ms sql vsts / azure devops / git and source control. Recognised experience of development using JavaScript. Excellent understanding of T-SQL and JSON. Good knowledge of interacting with Mongo/NoSQL data stores. Experience of developing solutions in Azure (Azure SQL, APIs, Logic Apps, websites, etc.). Analytical, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to methodically test systems and ensure they conform to the specification / process Naturally inquisitive regarding data within the system and seek out issues / best practice, analyse and feed back to required management. We would also be keen to meet candidates with experience of social housing maintenance, Creating SSIS packages, Interacting with Web APIs, Angular, PowerShell, IIS, Workday, ServiceNow All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
