You will need to demonstrate relevant experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting across secondary mental health services and with other partner agencies, particularly working alongside Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, CAMHS, Social Care, and the Police. Experience of working with service users experiencing mental health crisis is essential. Experience of leading on service user's care and working autonomously is desirable.
You will possess excellent clinical triaging and assessment skills using a Biopsychosocial model and be able to work effectively with service users and their relevant others to formulate collaborative plans prior to their discharge from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Knowledge and understanding of PDR and supervision processes are also essential requirements for the post, together with a commitment to the appraiser and supervisor role. We promote regular supervision and team discussion/debrief as part of our working culture.
Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be motivated, able to work independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team and with other partnership agencies. You should have a positive approach to meeting the needs of our service users and be able to demonstrate continued professional development.
