Outwood Academy Valley has 1500 students aged 11 to 16 and shares a Post 16 Centre, which has 500 students, with Outwood Academy Portland. Outwood Academy Valley is looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational Second in Faculty to join our Computer Science and Business Studies department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. Our single goal is 'Students First' and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim. As second in faculty with responsibility for Computer Science, this post attracts a TLR of £3,391.
The Computer Science and Business Faculty consists of 4 members of staff; 2 specialist Business teachers and 2 specialist Computer Science teachers. Computer Science is taught one hour per week at KS3. We currently offer OCR GCSE Computer Science at KS4. In addition, we offer GCSE & A level Business.
