The Job We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Architecture practice to translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that achieve business objectives, working across AVEVA's business functions and applications. AVEVA's Enterprise Architecture function leads, facilitates, analyses, and designs enterprise IT transformations for all business applications including CRM, Finance, HR, and Customer portals. The Senior SA will play a pivotal role in a dual capacity: - As a member of the EA team, by focusing on producing solutions for a variety of technically oriented projects, and - Interacting and collaborating will Enterprise Security, by translating enterprise security guidelines into actionable design inputs, ensuring robust and secure architectures. Therefore, this role requires tangible experience of security-related solutions, particularly involving IDAM, PAM, cryptography, etc. Responsibilities - Produce quality solution deliverables, at the appropriate level of details depending on the context (waterfall, agile) and articulates how the solutions support the business outcomes. - Works closely with the product owners, product managers, business analysts and project/programme managers to ensure a robust architectural output that can support future business requirements throughout the product/project life cycle. - Leads evaluation, design, and analysis of solution architectures across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements, and enterprise standards. - Finds ways to "do more" to embed security into the delivery pipeline. - Articulates "security" for non-security SMEs, including fellow Architects. - Work closely with other architects and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive working solution. - IDAM and PAM: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Security etc.) to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions with existing systems. - Lead the architecture and design of IAM frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Provide technical leadership and guidance on IAM projects, from conception to completion. Skill s & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 5 years of proven experience of IT systems' design covering a wide range of enterprise applications': CRM (ideally Salesforce), ERP (ideally one or more of Oracle Fusion, SAP, Dynamics365), Sales (Salesforce), Marketing (Adobe, Marketo). - Demonstrable exposure to, and demonstrable understanding of, multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments (Cloud, SaaS, on premise). - Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, APIs, and data governance and security. - Strong understanding of IDAM concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). - Knowledge of security protocols and standards, including OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect. - Demonstrable experience with mainstream IAM platforms, including Sailpoint, Microsoft Active Directory, Ping and/ or other. - Awareness of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies and capability to support agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt. Desired Skills - Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. - Good understanding of Security Architecture principles and common design patterns. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a technical context. - Excellent analytical and technical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Relevant vendor or industry certifications.
