Finance Administrator
Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join there dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Location: Edinburgh - Hybrid working
Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Requirement: Successful candidates will need to complete a Basic Disclosure Scotland check.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase orders on the financial system
* Posting authorised invoice batches into the system
* Managing the finance team mailbox, ensuring timely responses
* Supporting contract managers with financial administration tasks
* Creating supplier accounts
* Completing month-end reconciliations, including journal checks & spend reviews (GPC & EEMS)
* Assisting the Finance Support Manager with ad hoc tasks
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a financial administrative role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
