NXTGEN is on the lookout for a proactive and talented Audit Assistant Manager to join a rapidly growing Audit team for a firm based in Ipswich. In this role, you will be an integral part of a skilled and experienced team committed to delivering exceptional audit and assurances services to a varied client base including for small and large entities.

You'll be involved in every stage of the audit process, from planning and fieldwork to completing the assignment for Partner review. As your skills develop, you will be given the opportunity to assume greater responsibility, supported by tailored training and internal development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading audit projects from start to finish before going to the Partner for review
* Managing daily operations on client projects while mentoring and guiding team members
* Provide high quality accounting and taxation advice and support
* Engaging with clients by updating them on project status, answering queries and tackling complex issues
* Actively networking and building strong relationships with clients
* Tracking engagement profitability by overseeing billings and collections
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a Chartered Accountants/Bureau environment is preferred due to the client-facing nature of the role.
* Prior experience in Audit and strong technical knowledge
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
