As a key member of the Trust’s finance team, you will work closely with the Director of Finance, taking responsibility for technical financial management, including account closure, annual budget construction, and in-year budget monitoring. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and maintaining a robust financial framework to support the Trust’s long-term financial sustainability.
Role Details:
* Salary:£59,387 - £65,205
* Hours:Full-time, 35 hours per week (fully onsite)
* Location:Slough
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive financial management services for the Trust.
* Prepare annual revenue and capital management accounts.
* Conduct regular budget monitoring for both revenue and capital.
* Supply financial data for statutory and non-statutory reporting.
* Analyse income and expenditure trends, offering sound financial projections.
* Oversee the closure of annual accounts and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
* Provide necessary financial information for internal and external audits.
* Maintain the Trust’s financial ledger in line with ESFA requirements.
Person Specification:
* Fully qualified accountant with at least three years’ experience in an educational trust(essential).
* Proven ability to simplify complex financial issues and present them clearly(essential).
* Proficiency in SAGE accounting systems(essential).
* Strong track record of developing and implementing financial processes and protocols(essential).
* Competent in using ICT to enhance financial services(essential).
* Possession of an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (dated within the last three years)(essential).
