This position will be based in our EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) Space line of business, which will be part of a team delivering international space missions for satellites, launchers, and interplanetary vehicles. The company works with both national and international space agencies like NASA and European Space Agency as well as working across the commercial marketplace supporting missions that include Earth observation, internet of things (IoT) satellite constellations and global positioning and navigation systems. Job Purpose
The CADM Coordinator role acts in a document management capacity for EnerSys ABSL projects throughout the project lifecycle (business development, sales, design, manufacture, test and delivery). The role also supports the control and distribution of documentation for the Business Management System, product development processes and other internal activities generating controlled documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for on time and on quality document control activities delivered within EnerSys ABSL (for both project and non-project documentation)
* Responsible for ensuring all documents are processed and made available to appropriate internal parties
* Accountable for documents being processed into signoff and subsequently issued to the internal document library
* Accountable for final endorsement of released documents, either by electronic means or with physical stamps
* Accountable for the secure storage and archiving of documents, including physical copy
* Accountable for the collation of documents into project data-packs, according to document lists provided by the project teams
* Accountable for the verification of documents and records against the provided configuration control baseline
* Accountable for arranging and chairing Change Control Boards (CCBs)
* Accountable for the creation and revision of project controlling documentation including Configuration Item Data Lists (CIDL), As-Build Configuration Lists (ABCL) and End Item Data Packs (EIDP)
* Accountable for the release of requested data-packs to the specified project team in support of project milestones
* Responsible for schedule adherence of document management tasks
* Supports functional level Quality Control documentation and monitoring within the function
* Supports continuous improvements across the function
Qualifications
* GCSE Grade C / 5 or higher in both English and Mathematics is required
* Vocational qualification in administrative skills are an advantage
* Minimum 1-year of administrative experience
* Document Control and Management qualifications are desirable
Knowledge / Experience
* Knowledge of European Space Industry Standards for CADM
* Experience delivering document management processes in aerospace, medical or similar highly controlled industries
* An understanding of configuration control principles preferred
* An ability to work in a multi-project environment; to effectively prioritise and work to detailed scheduled plans and tight deadlines
* Strong skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes, professional certificates preferred
