Protocol Education is thrilled to partner with a school in Newcastle searching for a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher. If you’re enthusiastic about making science accessible and engaging for students, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Biology lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
* Create and implement lesson plans that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
* Encourage student participation in scientific experiments, projects, and extracurricular activities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and promote STEM initiatives.
About You:
* Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Biology or a related subject.
* Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary level, ideally including GCSE or A-Level.
* A passion for science and a talent for inspiring students to achieve their potential.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learners.
* Strong organizational skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
