About the role
Geography plays an important role in the school and the subject has a high profile with large numbers of students choosing to continue the subject at both GCSE and A Level. We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified and innovative teacher of geography who will inspire our young people, promote a personal passion for Geography & Humanities and ensure that all students excel in this subject area. You must be committed to being a team member willing to teach Geography (KS 3-5)and other subjects in Humanities at KS3. Previous experience of teaching A Level Geography would also be an advantage.
The Faculty currently offers a wide range of opportunities at Key Stage 3 and 4 alongside our 6th Form provision. Results for all subjects within Humanities have exceeded national levels and we are an ambitious faculty with high aspirations for all our students.
About you
You will have a drive to ensure that all students, at all academic levels, receive an outstanding experience in their Geography lessons. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to exceptionally high standards of classroom practice alongside a genuine regard for inspiring progress and quality of education of all our young people.
