We are looking for two positive and motivated Advanced Social Workers to join our integrated Adult Social Care team covering the West area of Devon.
The roles we have available are:
1. 1 x Permanent Post at 37 Hours per week
2. 1 x Fixed Term for 12 months Post at 37 Hours per week
One Practitioner will be based in our Tavistock office and the other Practitioner will be based in our Ivybridge / Kingsbridge office.
These posts are full-time requiring office-based working at least three days per week. There will be the flexibility to work from home as part of our hybrid working policy.
You will be working with young people from 17 years old transitioning to Adult Social care through to older adults.
The role will include deputising for the team manager, chairing safeguarding meetings, conducting supervisions, carrying a small but complex caseload. Have sound legal literacy skills, confidence in providing advice and guidance to the team. With an understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social care statutory duties.
Joining our Adult social care team in the west as an Advanced Social Worker, you will be innovative, person-centred, and committed to working with adults in a strengths-based way.
You will use your excellent relationship management skills to collaborate and negotiate with service users, their families, providers, and other health care professionals, to proactively encourage independent and safe living within the community.
