- THE ROLE -
The Student Success Centre supports Ulster University students to achieve their educational goals and engage in opportunities to maximise success throughout their learning journey. We’re looking for a Student Success Officer to join the newly established Student Success Centre. The team is located within the Student & Graduate Success Directorate.
The Student Success Officer plays a crucial role in supporting student success, retention, fostering a sense of belonging, and enhancing academic transitions at Ulster University. Their responsibilities include:
* Enhancing student engagement through targeted initiatives that support induction, retention, attainment, and overall success.
* Delivering academic skills support, while fostering inclusion and belonging, empowering students to navigate their learning journey effectively.
* Collaborating across faculties and departments to integrate best practices in student support and engagement.
- ABOUT YOU -
* A degree or equivalent qualification.
* Experience of developing and delivering student success interventions in a Higher Education setting.
* Experience of supporting, developing and implementing EDI initiatives for students from widening participation (WP) groups in a Higher or Further Education setting that fosters a supportive campus community.
